Morning Workout in the Park

A few days before leaving for what is already the coolest trip of my life (photos to follow!), my lungs longed for some fresh air before the day could start properly. The only sufficient answer to that was a semi-serious run (only interrupted by the occasional ‘Ooh that’s a pretty house!’ photo break in Hampstead) to Golders Hill Park, just north from the Heath. What followed was an incredibly fun mix of wild jumps, hilarious boxing attempts and weird looks from people who just meant to take their dogs out and didn’t plan to watch two girls freak out at 8am. But apart from that, I strongly recommend visiting the park, it’s beautiful! I’ve never even heard of it and was all the more surprised to find butterflies and deers in Zone 2.
