How to spend the hours after your last exam (before summer finally starts)

After I handed in all the essays and brought tiny extracts from what I’ve actually studied down on the exam’s paper, my first destination was a park: Highgate Cemeteries, I’ve surprisingly never been there and was therefore even more stunned by its silent beauty. The kids weren’t so silent unfortunately, but that didn’t stop me from lying down statically and closing my eyes for about two hours. The only exception was ice cream which is legitimate. However, ice cream brings me to my actual point.

Treat yourself. Have cupcakes, pizza, spaghetti, cider, cake, everything! It’s so easy to drown in whatever comes next in your diary. Internships, part-time jobs or excessive clubbing, that you sometimes forget to be proud of what you’ve achieved in that past year.

For me that involved a trip to a local swimming pool in Hampstead Heath and a following barbecue party in North London. The hours after that were spent in an even more extraordinary way, but that story is gonna be told another day! I hope you’ve all enjoyed the end of your terms and have exciting summers to look forward to. x

Haha, that is so cool! These flowers need sunshine and lots of lazy hours in parks… ; ) x
