Moats and boats and waterfalls / I have been everywhere with you

It’s revision time, don’t you dare to even think about escaping! Never mind, to get rid of this madness that got me the second I woke up every day, I went back home to Germany for a few days to relax in the countryside, see old and new faces and just to have a little holiday I suppose. The weather was gorgeous and got me all excited. Long walks through the woods, big cakes, pretty people and the lack of sleep labelled this weekend. It’s funny how different the photos are that I take now in comparison to a few years ago, although they still picture the same landscapes. It must be because my attitude towards it has changed so much, I now appreciate the silence and the solitude of the little village… although I wouldn’t want to permanently live there again. (Sorry Mum!)

So now there’s literally about 24 hours left until my first year at university finishes. Unfortunately, I still have roughly 300 words that need to get down on paper for a last project… but that’s it then! Better not get too distracted by the beautiful sun that somehow wonderfully has arrived in Britain as well. Have an amazing end of term and reward yourself with lots of celebrations please – you deserve it! x
