I’ve been scrawling it forever / But it never makes sense to me at all

A lovely friend of mine took me on a weekend trip to her home in Oxford in November (yes, I know that’s been ages but I never really had the time and the energy to flick through the photos) and I just loved it so much. I needed some break from never-sleeping London and Oxford was just the perfect alternative to take a some long breaths with only a few people. The city is just beautiful and you probably have to feel the atmosphere in order to understand what I’m enthusing over. I loved the old buildings and all the small book shops packed with dreamers. We did an extensive walk in the woods, admired Oxford University buildings and famous Harry Potter venues. The nightlife back there was amazing as well and so was a Sunday full of highly eloquent Made in Chelsea, tea and pizza. A part of me even regretted having chosen London as a place to live. But then again, who knows what tomorrow will bring?
